PEUGEOT is expanding its popular supermini range with this month’s arrival of a new special edition model called the Intuitive.
The newcomer is up for grabs in both three and five-door style with a choice of petrol and HDi diesel engines and prices from £14,245.
Included in the extra equipment and technology is Peugeot’s new Park Assist automatic parallel parking system which detects a space then controls the steering to manoeuvre the car into position.
All Intuitive models are based on the current 208 Allure versions but get extra kit like 16-inch alloys, sat-nav, Cielo roof with ambient lighting, directional front fog lights, dual zone air-con and an LED surround on the instrument dials as well as the Park Assist.
That’s in addition to ABS, electronic brake force distribution, emergency brake assist, power steering, six airbags, remote central locking with deadlocks, a CD player, trip computer and cruise control with speed limiter.
Prices are from £14,245 for a 1.2 VTi 82 model capable of 62.8 miles per gallon and producing 104g/km of emissions. Diesels start with the 74.3mpg and 98g/km 1.4 HDi 70 at £15,545.
The Intuitive is also available under Peugeot’s Just Add Fuel scheme whereby a single fixed price monthly payment covers insurance, road tax, servicing, roadside assistance and warranty over three years.
